Jewellery Guide and Care

Everyday Care:

Remove your jewellery and keep it in a safe place if you plan to do any heavy-duty work such as gardening, cleaning, or lifting heavy object. This will prevent your jewellery from sustaining damage to the setting. This also applies to all jewellery items that are at risk of being exposed to harsh environments, chemicals, and perspiration as these can cause the finish on your ring to deteriorate.

Keep it Safe:

If you need to remove your jewellery, we recommend that you keep your jewellery in the same place each time that you remove it. Making this a habit is a good way to help avoid any misplacements of your jewellery.  When storing jewellery in a safe space, keep it wrapped in a soft cloth to protect it from scratches or dints.

Insurance:

Unfortunately, precious items can be lost or stolen. For this reason, we do suggest that you seek jewellery insurance immediately after receiving your jewellery from us. You will require a jewellery valuation document which can be purchased from us.

Clean & Check:

Once a month you can use warm water and a soft bristle toothbrush for a general clean of your jewellery. Please bring your jewellery to us every 12 months to have it professionally serviced, cleaned and plated for you. We offer one complimentary service to our customers.
